Attend the free public premiere screening of Farm to School: Growing our Future on Monday, Apr. 2, Coffman Memorial Union Theater, U of MN. This 27-minute documentary explores the economic advantages and remaining challenges for businesses, farms, schools and communities as we work together to improve our children's health and education. Produced in partnership by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), Twin Cities Public Television (TPT), and the University of Minnesota Extension Services.
The film will be shown as part of the National Public Health Week Film Festival, April 2-6, hosted by the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. There will be free admission, food and beverages. Doors will open at 5 p.m. daily with expert introductions and films starting at 5:30 p.m.
